Musica Viva Tasmania is Tasmania’s premier international chamber music presenter, bringing some of the best ensembles and solo artists from around the world and Australia. Our artists play a huge variety of music, from medieval to contemporary, including the great works of the chamber music repertoire. We hold seven concerts each year, usually in the Hobart Town Hall.
Although affiliated with Musica Viva Australia, we are a fully independent, non-profit organisation, largely reliant on our own fundraising. Bringing major international artists to Tasmania is a complex and expensive process. Without the generous support of our sponsors, donors, volunteers and supporters, we would not be able to continue.
We invite you to join our growing band of donors to help us further our mission, expand our activities, and keep ticket prices to a minimum.
