The future of great music in Tasmania is in your hands

Musica Viva Tasmania is a non-profit organisation that brings internationally renowned musicians to this state. We hold six concerts each year in the Hobart Town Hall, featuring some of the best quartets, trios and solo artists from Europe, America, Asia and Australia. They play a huge variety of music, from medieval to modern.

Although affiliated with Musica Viva Australia, we are a fully independent organisation, largely reliant on our own fundraising. Bringing major international artists to Tasmania is a complex and expensive process. Without the generous support of our sponsors, donors and volunteers, we would not be able to continue.

We invite you to join our growing band of donors to help us further our mission, expand our activities, and keep ticket prices to a minimum. Your support will be suitably acknowledged in our printed programs and at the concert venue. By becoming a donor, you will have the satisfaction of giving tangible support to the rich and lively musical culture of this state.
